Social and emotional learning depends on adults. Building adult SEL takes all of us.

This year’s theme recognizes that every adult in a young person’s life — family members, educators, coaches, and mentors — influences their social, emotional, and academic development. When adults and students alike have meaningful, inclusive opportunities to learn and develop social and emotional skills, we build a village where everyone thrives.

Leaders as Learners: Building the Village our Children Need

We invite you to attend in the true spirit of adult SEL—as learners–and dive deep into adult skills development, wellness strategies, cultural competence, and more. Find nearly 300 sessions specifically designed for educators, district and school leaders, caregivers, policymakers, researchers, out-of-school time providers, nonprofit leaders, and more.

Together, we will explore:

• The systems that support adult SEL

• The policies that those possible

• The programs and processes that can help adults strengthen our own SEL and strong relationships

• The research and innovations that demonstrate impact
